Hermes' Order
In this Order, Hermes governs the path of death. The path that is actually the easiest, because despite making good choices, they all lead to one outcome: Death. Like Demeter, who has power to give, she also has the power to take away. She, in a sense, represents life and death. Hermes shares connection with Hekate through Role. He is able to move so freely through worlds no matter physical or spiritual. The beginning of this theme reveals his role as Psychopomp- the guide to the place of the dead. His theme has haunting sounds that subtly change into a marching cadence as you travel to your final resting place. Your physical life is over, and your journey is finally over. The last thing you hear is your door closing as Hermes departs.
